About BAMS in India

Counselling Process

AIQ Counselling (MCC)

Conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in for 15% All India Quota seats in government medical colleges, all AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, central universities, and related institutes. Open to candidates from any state.

State Counselling

Conducted by respective state authorities (e.g., KEA Karnataka, CET Cell Maharashtra, DGME UP) for 85% state quota seats. Usually requires state domicile as per state rules.

Deemed University Counselling

100% seats in deemed universities are filled through MCC counselling. Includes management and NRI quotas with higher fee structures.
